Our first shop was fairly small located in Uttoxeter Road, Longton, Stoke on Trent, dealing with the buying and selling of second hand furniture and household appliances, but also at that time specialising in house clearances. This shop was closed and shortly after a new shop was opened in Uttoxeter Road, Longton, this being a bigger premises located opposite Gladstone Museum.

Absolutely appalling service and con artist. Bought a tumble dryer and asked for condensed. He then proceeded to give us a vented one which we didn't ask for but because it had no pipe we assumed it was condensed. Ended up having to pay for a pipe for it. When we did the first drying with just a towel to test it then was making a funny noice (I have video proof). He then claimed that he tested it infront of us which he did not. Tried to return the next day and not only did he refuse but he then screamed in my face. You don't scream in people's faces or customers let alone a pregnant woman. Absolutely

I bought a "seconds" Bush fridge freezer from here in 2009, its literally just died. I also bought a second hand Bosch tumble dryer the same year. Still going strong. So when my old fridge freezer died natural choice was to go back. He did me a Hotpoint Fridge Freezer less than 6 months old for £70 with free delivery. It was very basically cleaned and he made no claims otherwise. It was minging. But he sold it as seen, an hour and a bottle of bleach later it's like new. Pleasure to deal with, bargain prices and great service. I genuinely dont know what people expect for the money! 10 yr happy

Brought a washing machine from this store wasvtildgis engineer has checked it fully working and been cleaned. Had a plumber install the washing machine andvwouland drain phoned up to tell them of this was told they will come the next afternoon to collect it refused to tell me when it eoulwbe returned when I went in store the next day he closed the door behind me and blocked my exit still left without a washing machine and £105 out of pocket

I boujght a second hand microwave from this cowboy. It worked for five minutes, at five and a half I smelt burning and the plastic fittings beneath the glass plate had completely melted. This was a dangerous item and obviously massively faulty, despite the shop owners guarantee that it worked perfectly. I rang him today and he said ~"well then you've done something with it - I've cooked me dinner in that and it was fine". I asked what I could possibly do with a microwave to make the internal fittings melt. He was adamant that he would not even exchange it for another microwave, and lied through

WHAT an ABSOLUTE cowboy!!!! DO NOT buy from this joker. I bought a matress 7 weeks ago and the springs are popping through already. When I contacted the owner to ask what he could do about it he said "nothing" and had the nerve to put the phone down and then not answer it at all for the subsequent 15 minutes. I am totally amazed that this company is trading, open & even in business, Moreso having just read ANOTHER review on here to a similar effect?!? Disgusting.
