We are delighted to have been recognised by CSR Accreditation, the UK's only accreditation body for Social Responsibility, for delivering positive action by our sponsoring and commissioning on the Cones on Site children's book. The book highlights the dangers of children playing on building sites. Caddick is proud to have won the International Safety Award with a Distinction from the British Safety Council.

We are proud of what we have achieved but most of all, we believe that these awards demonstrate that we are delivering the needs of our customers and their end users. The outstanding development of Hudson Quarter in York by Caddick Construction has been awarded the Constructing Excellence award at the Yorkshire Property Awards 2021.

The SafeContractor scheme provides a health and safety audit service for contractors who want to reassure their clients that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on their sites. The British Safety Council is the largest corporate health and safety membership organisation. We work alongside our members to achieve the vision that no-one should be injured or made ill at work.

At Caddick Construction, we embed the principles of sustainability within our procurement activities to ensure that only value for money products are selected and that in all cases a balanced consideration of social, ethical, environmental and economic impacts are undertaken throughout the procurement process.

Caddick Construction's Health, Safety and Environmental Policy has been defined by Senior Management and approved by the Board. We have been accredited ISO 45001 for implementing, maintaining and continually improving our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system. This eliminates, or minimises risk, to employees and other interested parties (including the public), who may be exposed to OH&S risk associated with our activities.
