From your initial enquiry you will have contact with an experienced member of our heating team who has background knowledge relating to domestic heating and hot water systems. All work is supervised by experienced personnel and all installations are carried out by our own Gas Safety Register Registered engineers, trained and qualified in Energy Efficiency and the New Condensing Boiler Building Regulations.
There are many thousands of ageing central heating systems with circulation and noise problems caused by accumulations of sludge, corrosion deposits and scale which traditional methods of flushing just don't get rid of and problems often quickly return. At ONE STOP Gas and Plumbing Limited, we use both the Clearflow and Fernox machines as they are the ideal tool for power flushing heating systems to cure such problems.
We currently enjoy a yearly rollover 4 star contract to carry out gas safety checks and servicing to approximately 500 properties in the London area. The contract consists of, daily 24 hr 7 days a week call outs to boiler breakdowns and emergencies. We also provide temporary heating and hot water were necessary.
The Health & Safety Executive website provides some very useful information. This website contains information gas consumers need to know in order to manage gas appliances/equipment safely and tells you what to do in an emergency. It also provides advice for landlords, and letting agents on how to comply with the law.
The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 specifically deal with the duties of landlords to ensure that gas appliances, fittings and flues provided for tenants' use are safe. In general, a landlord's gas safety duties apply to appliances and flues in "relevant premises" - residential properties occupied for residential purposes under either a licence, a tenancy agreement for a set term, or a lease.
