Services
With over 25 years of experience in horticulture, Charnley's is definitely the place to make your garden grow. Ideally located just off the A590 near Dalton-in-Furness, Charnley's Home and Garden Centre has the largest selection of plants, trees and shrubs in South Cumbria. Our friendly, helpful staff are always on hand and happy to give you lots of great gardening tips and advice.
First and Second Earlies will give you "new potatoes" in the summer, Maincrops will give you tubers for eating in the autumn and enough to store over winter for later use. First Earlies will typically be ready for harvesting in June/July, Second Earlies in July/August and Main Crops from August onward but if storing then can be harvested in September or October.

Spot on service! I purchased some Christmas decorations from here as they have a large selections to choose from. I had an issue with one of the cluster lights as it went bust after a few days of using them. I came back into Charnley’s a couple weeks later and they replaced them with no issues! I can see why this garden centre is always busy! I would definitely recommend people to visit. It is very well presented, plenty of parking spots and a great atmosphere!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Angela at Charnleys. I don’t live in their area but she was fantastic in getting me some replacement lights for my water feature, she went over and above what hat she needed to and I’m very grateful. Will definitely be on their website again soon, looks wonderful.
