John managed to start the work around the time he had forecast, and judged the exact timing beautifully to avoid weather problems for us. The whole job was completed faster than expected, and the finished conservatory is absolutely super - bright and clean and sound. Would have no hesitation in recommending this company!

We had a Composite door fitted by “The Window Company” at the end of 2016. This warped and twisted after 4 years and was pulling the frame away from the house. Contacted John Paterson (owner) who attended and made some alterations to the hinge side, stating he would contact the manufacturer to request a new door to be manufactured as this one was faulty. John Paterson made little effort with the manufacturer and I had to chase him on several occasions asking for an update, in the end he stated “ I cant do much more”. This left it to me to contact the manufacturer who were helpful in sending

Really pleased we decided to go with J.Paterson’s to have all our windows replaced. Excellent communication, quick and clear. Answered all our questions before going ahead with the job in a thorough and precise manner. Delivery and fitting was much sooner than expected and can’t fault the standard at all. I’m pretty fussy and they look great. Fitter did an excellent job, very professional and pleasant to have around, friendly and tidy. Completely happy to recommend to others!

Can't speak too highly of the service from this company. Working round snow and freezing conditions, they rescheduled and worked to an amazing standard to fit my windows to a high standard without any fuss or disruption to the interior. Am totally delighted with the results and, although the fitters ( both lovely) would probably not agree, it was a painless experience --for me at least!

I was really pleased with the work carried out. They replaced a front and back door, a set of French doors and 12 windows. It wasn't straightforward because my house is in a Conservation Area so it meant I had to get planning consent. John quoted in October but it took until the following April to get approval. I did most of the application myself but John helped to source a design consultant who dealt with certain specific things, including cross section drawings of the replacement windows and doors. John is quite knowledgeable about what is likely to be acceptable. He recommended the Flush 70
