EST 1968, Finsbury house Carpets - has been supplying and fitting quality carpets and floor coverings all at affordable prices to over three generations of families. In 1996 current owners Carl & Suzanne Turner took part ownership of the company before owning it outright in 2008. Customers can view over 5,000 colours and designs at our large showrooms on Ansdell Rd in Blackpool all from the leading Manufacturers.
Derek Breeze a boy 15 moved to Blackpool in 1953 with his parents. Looking for work, Derek spotted an advert in the local Gazette for an apprentice carpet fitter. Fitted carpets to a boy from the Midlands in the 1950s as you can imagine was a bit of a mystery, but nevertheless he decided to investigate further!
I would like to thank Carl & Alan for their excellent advice and the superb sales & after sales & fitting service they have provided. Our Karndean flooring in the kitchen diner was surprisingly affordable and looks totally amazing, we just love it! Carl's idea of a diagonal pattern and his suggestion of a decking effect has really made the space something special and Alan's attention to detail and skill have completely done the trick.

We had just purchased a property and needed new carpets for 4 bedrooms,stairs & landing also laminate flooring for hallway and large living room,we also needed beds for all the bedrooms too i had searched on google and came across finsbury house,the reviews were excellent so decided to go with them,well what can i say the carpet fitter had done an excellent job clean and tidy worker,even took the old carpet away,the joiner who fitted the laminate flooring also did an excellent job(sorry cant remember the names of the carpet fitter and joiner),then Dan fitted all the beds together also did an excellent

Our second time using Finsbury House and it was as great an experience this time as the first.
8 yrs ago we had parquet flooring laid through hallway which still looks stunning now despite Parma, scooters and rugby boots hammering it.
This week we have had our kitchen, breakfast room and loo done with Karndean flooring. Our house is tricky as it’s slightly wonky but the fitter Alan has done a brilliant job! He is a super star!
Been a pleasure dealing with this company again and would recommend them to anyone. 10 out of 10 for products, service and results. 👍🏻

We’ve just had our whole house re carpeted by Finsbury House, with the kitchen and hallway fitted with parquet flooring. We are very happy with the finished result, it looks amazing. The quality of the carpet has been commented on by everyone who’s seen it and the parquet flooring is really very impressive when you come in the front door. The service provided in the shop was very good and the fitters were excellent. They worked really hard and the finish they achieved was perfect. I can definitely recommend Finsbury House for your flooring.

I've got a reasonably sized living room which is on the first floor accessed via a turned staircase. It's a funny shape to boot and requires two joins in fairly prominent spots. The fitters did a super job, we were really pleased with the quality of the finished result. Plus which, there's a great range of carpet types available - at lots of different price points. From very affordable to the really expensive end of the market. Good quality, expensive carpet isn't always easy to find these days. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, will certainly go back.
