Following architectural education at the University of Sheffield and 10 years private and local authority experience in Northamptonshire, Philip established his practice in Kettering in 1981, from when it has provided architectural services on a wide variety of projects for Clients ranging from private individuals to public authorities and national and international companies.
In addition to academic and professional qualifications, Philip is registered to practise as an Architect by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and is a corporate member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
In 1988 the premises in Victoria Street were acquired and renovated to provide accommodation for the architectural practice and a variety of other occupiers including Agricultural Surveyors, Illustrators and Graphic Designers.The Practice is pleased to be located within this developing market town and looks forward to continuing to play a role in shaping the built environment of Kettering, its surrounding areas and beyond.

The Practice specialises in all types of residential projects ranging from individual houses and extensions to large scale estate planning for developers. The Practice is pleased to offer services to individual home owners planning extensions, including loft conversions, no matter how small or large these may be.
The Practice undertakes a wide variety of commercial and other non-residential projects which require the development of unique solutions for individual buildings and Client requirements. For over 20 years the Practice has provided architectural services for National Car Auctions, now Manheim Europe (based in USA).
The Practice has worked on numerous projects of this type ranging from the general needs of older people to those requiring nursing care. Projects have included improvements to existing Homes to the conversion and extension of existing buildings to create new Homes. The practice specialises in the provision of facilities for the disabled.
