We make high quality fitted and free-standing wooden furniture which is built to last and is timeless in character to suit all tastes and budgets. Whilst our prices are very competitive for hand built furniture we may not always be able to compete with High Street prices but you are guaranteed a piece of unique furniture for your home which will last and will have been built with care and dedication.
At Greenwood Country Furniture we are happy to make your furniture from any type of wood traditionally used for furniture making. We find that Oak, Pine & Radiata Pine are by far the most popular with our customers, but Other timber can be used upon request. Strong, durable oak timber has traditionally been used for houses, ships and furniture for centuries.

Several years ago in our previous house Martin made us a corner TV unit, matching Hi-Fi unit and nest of coffee tables. We therefore knew his craftsmanship was excellent.
We wanted a 3' round table and four chairs, in solid oak for the bay window, in the kitchen of our first floor apartment. Martin was the only furniture maker/supplier that was able to give us the contemporary feel that we were seeking. In order to get the colour and finish we wanted, Martin supplied us with samples to view at our leisure in our home.
