For many years, Featherbow has been synonymous with the finest quality cabinet making and handmade kitchen designs. We specialise in the creation of bespoke furniture, kitchens and bedrooms handcrafted from quality hardwoods. Whether it be a large, country house kitchen, or a one-off piece of freestanding furniture, the same care and attention is given to its design, construction and installation.
Michael will visit to measure and discuss your project, then draw up your individual design with plan and elevations offering a 3D photo image then giving a fixed quotation for supply and installation. All our kitchen and furniture designs are available in a variety of hardwoods and veneers and can be handpainted or sprayed in any colour you choose which we can guide you through.
Every item of Featherbow furniture is individually designed and made for that specific project, using the best available materials and employing traditional cabinet making techniques, with mortice and tenoned doors and dovetailed joints on the drawers. We can incorporate the most modern hardware, such as soft close drawer runners and storage solutions.
Our renovation service can update your kitchen by carrying out a total repaint with a beautiful hand painted finish. We can also replace worktops, sinks, taps, handles and build furniture to match your existing cabinetry. This can give a complete kitchen transformation, with beautiful results, without the upheaval of a new kitchen.
Due to the fact that Featherbow has reduced overheads, with no expensive high street showrooms, we feel that we offer the best value for money for bespoke furniture. As every kitchen is made as a one off, we can offer a full range of materials and colours for carcasses and frames, from melamine faced chipboard to solid oak carcasses.

Featherbow built oak fitted wardrobes for us. An awkward space where a wardrobe would not work as none of the walls or floor were straight and the ceiling curved. It did not phase them and the finished result is stunning, a good use of space, beautiful wood which was efficiently installed. They are an experienced and creative team with a high attention to detail. As more than happy customers we will be back for a kitchen soon!
