Founded in 2011 by Father and Son, Lance and Adam Allsop, The Shutter Studio specialised in dressing windows with luxury plantation shutters, or commonly also known as shutter blinds and wooden shutters. Over the years as our company has grown, so has the number of services we offer. Services such as shutter repairs, made to measure blinds, innovative motorised blinds and bespoke carpentry.

The Shutter Studio is a family run business that has specialised in the supply and fit of high quality plantation shutters, in the South East for over 10 years. With over 6000 successful interior shutters installed since 2011, we have gained a reputation as the London shutter experts.

Full Height Shutters Report

Full height style shutters are a classic and are by far the most popular shutter style. A full height shutter gives complete privacy, by fully covering a window or opening from top to bottom. When opening and closing the shutters, the panels are hinged to the framework to allow you to open the shutter up, and fold the shutter panels back to your desired position.

Tier on Tier Shutters Report

Tier on tier shutters are effectively a full height shutter with a twist, they are the most versatile and adjustable window shutters out of all our shutter styles. Tiered shutters also known as split shutters give you two separate shutter panels one above another. Commonly known as sash window shutters, they enable you to open the top tier shutters allowing light to fill the room, whilst keeping the bottom tier closed for privacy.

I am delighted with the first class service I received from The Shutter Studio. Brandon did a home visit, showed me a range of shutters and explained about the different type of shutters. He measured my windows and I received a very competitive quote. I visited the showroom and was again impressed with the quality customer service. James was so knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Once I had chosen the type of shutters I wanted communication was maintained from placing my order to when my shutters was delivered. Sam did the installation. He was very Professional and an expert installer

Really Pleased with the 2 Shutter Blinds they look amazing. Fitted By Ollie in no time at all..
Did have to wait at least 4 months from time of ordering but was made aware of this so it was not a problem.

From the measuring/quote, communication once ordered, online payment and the fitting. I highly recommend. The quality is outstanding and the honest feedback about style that would work well in my large window was excellent. Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish from the Shutter Studio. Very happy with the quality of the shutters. Brandon, who came to measure and show me the range of products, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Mark, who installed the shutters, did an excellent job and cleaned up as he went along. The communication from the team was excellent during the whole process. On top of that , the Shutter Studio was by far the most competitive price for all basswood shutters out of the 4 quotes I got! Would definitely use them again and massively recommend them to anyone wanting shutters. 👍
