Established in 2011, we have provided architectural services on many different types of project in and around St Albans. We understand that each project has a particular set of design requirements which include budget, function and style and that it is vital to develop a project brief in partnership with Clients at the outset.

We do not have a one-size-fits-all approach and every client and project is treated individually, no matter how large or small the scheme. We are highly approachable and down-to-earth and we seek to establish a collaborative dialogue with clients from the start. Construction design and specification is complex work which should only be undertaken by a suitably qualified and experienced construction professional.
The Clients owned a traditionally arranged end of terrace house on a wide plot and wanted an uncluttered, brightly lit family room. We extended to the side and rear with a flat roofed extension; remodelled the interior space to provide a simple oblong floor layout and used corner windows and a large rooflight to give as much light as possible.
The Clients were owners of a traditionally arranged bungalow on a large plot on the south side of St Albans. The original arrangement was a traditional one with separate kitchen and dining rooms and all bedrooms at ground floor level. The Clients wanted to create a large family room and move some bedroom accommodation to the first floor and have a good flow through the house.
We took on this project from the point at which the Clients had gained Planning Permission for a single storey side return extension to a mid terrace house. The extension as originally designed would have created a cramped kitchen room and so we explored the possibility of creating a split level room, taking advantage of the sloped site.
