Mr Frank Woollcott a cattle and livestock haulier with one vehicle, a tiny office and outbuildings expanded his business taking on the opportunity to move household goods; before long his excellent service and abilities to carry out domestic removals overtook the livestock side of things and Woollcott Removals and Storage was founded.
At Woollcotts we understand that moving house can be a life changing event and that's why we aim to help make your move go as smoothly as possible. Having been in the removals business since 1943 we understand that no two moves are the same, but they do share one thing in common. The most important move is - yours!
On removal day our team leader and crew will introduce themselves before you show them around your property, once this is done you can relax and leave the rest to us. Firstly we use floor coverings to ensure all of your carpets are protected including 'roll and stroll' for your stairs. All of your items are wrapped with specialist transit blankets and your settees, chairs and mattresses are protected with our quilted covers.

Moved my father first thing on 6th July 2021. There were not many items of furniture and only moving a short distance but they were great. They arrived on time and were so helpful despite some tricky furniture and the new flat not being the easiest for access. They went above and beyond for us. My father did try and catch them to give them a tip to show his gratitude but they had sped off to the next job. Totally recommend them.

The Woolcotts team are absolutely incredible! Moving during covid is hard, and my house move was particularly stressful and the team where professional, supportive, and just amazing throughout. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough for all of their hard work. They looked after my belongings (and me) with great care and attention. Would highly recommend.

Woollcott Removals have proved to be a very efficient in all aspects of their business.
They are a very down to earth with modest facilities but they provide a first class service.
The staff are all courteous and very helpful and friendly.

Great team. They moved me last week and were great. They did everything I asked them to and even went the extra mile to accommodate my box requests. The team were friendly and even help moving boxes, so I could clean. They helped put all the boxes into the rooms I asked and even helped sort them out. I have nothing, but respect and thanks for the team and everyone here, for an easy and great move. Would recommend to anyone moving.
