Nestling in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside the team at Deep in Wood are busy promoting locally sourced timber and creating bespoke designs. Timber is offered for sale in many different configurations which means we can offer a 'one off board service' as well as more wholesale larger quantity service.

Our portfolio of bespoke furniture vary considerably from one off garden seats to the design and build of 28 oak refectory tables and matching oak benches. We stock some of our bespoke furniture which can be seen on our website or in our showroom. Traditional hand crafted timber frames can be created to your design and specifications.Recent individual creations have been as large as a bespoke boat house and a garage port with living accommodation above or as small as a well cover.

Today we collected a beautiful piece of oak which James sourced and cut to size for us - all easily organised over the phone. Such a helpful and knowledgeable guy who understood our requirements immediately. Would have no hesitation in recommending Deep In Wood and James.

I purchased some oak from James for a mantle piece and it was great quality and value for money. After quite a few delays with my building project I needed to have the wood cut shorter, James was happy to oblige and didn't charge me anything for cutting both ends of the wood perfectly. Great service all around and I would definitely use him again.

Bit confusing to find (unmarked automatic gate, still not clear if there is an actual office) but the range is HUGE (like an aircraft hanger filled with milled wood. No literally, it's an aircraft hanger.) Dude James seemed friendly and helpful, but I'd recommend calling ahead!
