Our Team, some of whom have over 30 years' experience of MEP Design, includes Chartered Energy Engineers as well as Low Carbon Engineers who are supported by experienced CAD and Revit operators.
Design work included, Lighting, Power, Fire alarm, Intruder alarm, Home Automation to control the Lighting, Audio Visual, Blinds & Heating system. The Building owner required a low energy consumption property, so we carried out a series of U value calculations to optimise cost versus energy savings, the property was heavily insulated using a combination of fibre and sheep's wool insulation.
New Build Apartment scheme, full Mechanical & Electrical design, featured 4 design types and Atrium containing two escape stairwells and fire fighting lift. The design included Communal services of Fire Alarm, Video door Entry System, sizing of water boost system & Utilities Applications. Existing building converted to one Bed Apartments, with their own individual gas fired central heating, via Combi Boiler which also provided hot water.
Using Thermal Modelling, we where able to recommend improvements to the standard of insulation, which reduced the Annual running costs for the Tenants. The design included gas fired Combi boilers, LED lighting & Heat Recovery ventilation systems. Utility load requirements calculated and applications for new electrical, gas, water & telecoms supplies carried out.
Our Team have a wide experience of providing Mechanical & Electrical installations in Retail premises, with designs for electrical mains distribution, small power, Lighting, Comfort cooling, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms. Our experience working in retail allows us to effectively manage co-ordination with Architects, Interior Designers, Corporate Branding Departments and negotiate with the Landlord, Head Lessor or Local Authority.
