I had forgotten I had even booked you to trim the laurel hedge, so it was a delight to come home and see the end result, an excellent job. Even though I have not checked, it is also quite obvious that you cleaned up well the other side because I have not received a phone call from the miserable git! Thank you once again, I will spread the word around the Grange and use your services again, your cheque is en-route.
Richard has worked for us on a number of occasions and we find him to be a trustworthy, knowledgeable, competent tree surgeon. He is clean and tidy and has a good working knowledge of how surgeries work, paying attention to client specifications and patient awareness. He is health and safety aware, reasonably priced and we would not hesitate to employ him again.
Smart Trees are very professional - they completed a major job on a Poplar Tree for us with great skill and expertise. The prices are competitive and they are a great team. Security in any business is paramount and the need for CCTV security systems and lighting has become ever more important for many companies.
We would like to say a big thank you for the wonderful job you did on the trees, it has made such a difference to the garden. We are all aware of the need to become greener in our daily working lives and Smart Trees Ltd is already a champion of this. We have made a point of recycling a lot of the waste products from our works already and in addition we like to help our customers offset their carbon footprint by planting trees.

I first contacted Smart trees in January 2019 for an estimate to removed 2 very large conifers from my front garden. I was very pleased with the estimate and quick and efficient service. Therefore when I was considering removing another conifer from my back garden recently (September 2020) I didn’t hesitate in contacting them again. I’ve no trees left for any further work but if I did, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I had smart trees cut down 5 trees 3 yrs ago this month, not sure that I wrote a review and now feel i should of done especially as I've just had stump grinding done from them on a huge tree base and 3 smaller ones. The service received was excellent, there was an excellent friendly team of guys on the tree cutting and 1 man job on the grinding which took place yesterday. I only contacted Richard on Tuesday, he rang me Wednesday, looked at the job required Thursday and as he could see our job required was holding up our fence erecting job he sent one of his men Friday morning, I could not have

Richard has done 2 jobs for me. Removing a row of conifers and cutting down 2 ash trees. Both jobs done in a professional manner and at a reasonable price. The area was left clean and tidy. There were a lot of quotes by "cowboys" who could do the job next day, or that afternoon, who assured me I wouldn't get a better price! I had to wait for a slot with Richard, which proves he is doing a good job.

I had 5 very tall trees in a confined space, Richard viewed the site, gave me a firm price for the whole job and a date for the work. His team arrived on time, to say that they were helpful woukd be an understatement. The lads carried out this work in the most professional, effective and efficient way leaving a clean and tidy area after they had finished. All I can say is, if you want any tree work doing and doing correctly then it's got to be SMART TREES

I employed Richard Smart in November 2013 to kill a couple of trees which were growing right next to my house. One of these was an Elderflower bush rather than a full tree and the other was a couple of sycamore shoots, no more than two inches thick. He provided a reasonable quote for the work, seemed polite and came and poisoned the trees, job done. Or so I thought. There was no growth during 2014 and so the poison had appeared to do the trick, however during spring of 2015 both trees / shoots / bushes started to regrow in exactly the same place. I texted Richard to explain and asking him to return
