Last week we deployed our novel eco reef units in the River Crouch estuary in proximity of the Gunfleet. Throughout this project, the Commissioners and Harbour staff were impressed by the approaches taken by Exo Environmental and the specialist knowledge provided. The successful completion of the programme was a tribute to the positive working relationship between Exo Environmental, Port Flair (Bradwell) and Harbour staff.

As a result, the possible approaches to reducing flood risk, whilst providing benefits to agriculture and minimising environmental disruption are much clearer and we are encouraged that dredging trials, in Partnership with the Environment Agency, will start soon.
