Sirius Heating Solutions was founded in 2010 by Frank Dutton, a highly-experienced heating engineer with over 30 years experience. Since launching Sirius Heating Solutions in 2010, Frank now leads a team of ten from his offices in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, all striving to deliver the same excellent customer service and workmanship that served Frank so well during his own career.
To keep your boiler working efficiently and to help spot any early signs of problems, we recommend having it serviced annually by one of our helpful Gas Safe Registered Engineers. Annual services are a requirement of warranty and so regularly checks can help save a lot of money further down the line.
Our customer relationships are built on trust and we aim for the utmost transparency throughout our work, including our exceptionally competitive pricing. All work will be carried out by a fully qualified engineer, complete with our 12 month guarantee. Charges for our services begin once the engineer arrives at the property and concludes once the job is completed.

Appalling customer service, incompetent engineers, and a complete lack of accountability.
We initially had an intermittent issue with our boiler where the red light would come on, leaving us without heating or hot water until we reset it. We had Sirius out to service the boiler, explained the problem, and they identified a faulty electrical component. They returned on 19th March to supposedly fix the issuebut instead, they made it worse. Now, the boiler wont come on at all, leaving us with no heating or hot water.
To top it off, the engineer on 19th March arrived late. Normally, this wouldnt be a huge issue, but considering everything else thats gone wrong, its just the cherry on top of a completely frustrating experience.
That same evening, we were almost forced to call an emergency engineer because we had no heating or hot water, something we never had before their so-called repair. When we called Sirius the next day (20th March) to urgently request someone to come out and fix what they had caused, we explained that we were going away for the weekend and wouldnt be home after that daymeaning we couldnt just wait around for a future appointment. Despite this, they were completely dismissive and refused to take our situation seriously.
The receptionist was rude, argumentative, and completely unprofessionalraising her voice, talking over us, and making sarcastic comments like, I cant magic up an engineer and Just because youre inundating us with calls doesnt mean your problem will be prioritised. When we mentioned that we were considering calling an emergency engineer that night and that Sirius should be responsible for the cost since they caused the issue, she bluntly told us they wouldnt cover itthen hung up on us.
To make matters worse, the receptionist even admitted to us that a boiler service isnt thorough enough to pick up serious issues, which begs the questionwhats the point in paying for a service if it doesnt actually identify existing faults? This just shows a complete lack of professionalism and care for their customers.
After all of this stress, another engineer finally arrived today (20th March), but he was rude and clearly didnt want to be herehe didnt even say hello when I answered the door. He then told us the issue was a blocked pipe between the dishwasher and the boilerthe exact pipe that the previous engineer claimed he had already unblocked! So not only did Sirius fail to fix the issue, but their engineer lied about what he had done, leaving us without heating or hot water unnecessarily.
There was no understanding, no responsibility taken, and no attempt to help when we needed it most. This company made our problem worse and simply didnt care. The entire experience has been incredibly stressful and upsetting.
I would strongly advise against using this company if you actually want a problem solved. Theyve only added to ours and left us completely stranded.

Although the engineers arrived on the site to assess the work that we required them to do, they never provided us with quote. My partner phoned them on two occasions to chase the quote, as well as called in to the shop, but after promises to call back, nothing materialised. We both understand that this has been a very busy and challenging period for the tradesmen due to the property boom and Covid, but it is nevertheless a very disappointing and unprofessional conduct from respected local business.

It's Christmas Eve and our heating had completely gone, we were told we couldn't get British Gas out until Jan. I gave Sirius a call yesterday and against all odds and their busy schedules (especially at this time of year) they managed to fit us in and fix our issue

Damage my floor and door denied it could clearly see water warped laminate filled my black bin with all there breezeblocks metal rubbish broke me cup noisy as hell when turn it on as pipes expansion but not been wrapped on joists made claim through KWL but all stick together be warmed wheres the unlike button
