Light Unlimited was originally set up in 2001 by Simon Swift, a lighting designer, programmer and operator with over 25 years experience working worldwide on all manner of live events. In 1991 Simon graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, having specialised in lighting design in his final year, and immediately started work as a freelance lighting tech.
This included a tour with the Welsh National Opera, various bands and lighting design work for corporate events. Simon now specialises in lighting design, programming and operation for live events and lighting consultancy for installations. He owns a full WYSIWYG suite allowing CAD, pre-visualistaion of sets, shows and lighting systems as well as off - site pre-programming on a range of lighting consoles.
Simon's work has taken him all over the world on a variety of lighting projects including concert and touring, theatre, corporate events and product launches, son et lumieres, fashion shows, television and even the president of Kazakhstan's 70th birthday celebrations.
