Here at John Lomas Removals we know that moving home can be one of the most stressful experiences you and your family can go through. With our help - you can be sure you're in safe hands! With more than four decades of experience and a highly trained home relocation team, we'll ensure everything runs smoothly.
Our packing teams are professionally trained art and antique handlers, technicians and packers, so you can be sure your possessions are in safe hands. All of our boxes and packaging materials are specially designed to protect your belongings during transport. We can even crate antiques or more unusual items so that they have extra protection during their move.
We will undertake a survey at your home, and our consultant will discuss your particular requirements with you, and agree a plan for your removal. This will normally take half an hour, during which time a list of the packing materials, and an assessment of the furniture volume will be made. Our accounts department will prepare an invoice and payment is made (we accept all major credit cards).

I can’t rate this company highly enough. Ian, Nigel and James went above and beyond, worked their socks off and treated our furniture and possessions with care - true professionals. Another man from the company named Stu joined halfway through, and he was equally as professional as his colleagues. They were all friendly and really nice guys - it genuinely was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Top blokes and a top company - five stars. If you’re looking for a removal company, then look no further, these guys know what they’re doing.

I contracted this company to help move my brother who has physical and learning disabilities. They came in, packed everything and removed the furniture etc within a couple of hours, and then placed all of the furniture etc in his new home. Very understanding of the situation, sympathetic and respectful of my brother and his condition. Thank you to Laura and team.

Whole experience from start to finish has been trouble free and stress free. Right from initial contact with office staff to the two removals men who came today Mick and Rob. Both were pleasant, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Highly recommend this company and a very big thank you for helping my mums move such a breeze.

I’m not usually one for posting anything on Facebook but we’ve recently had a bad experience & I wanted to make sure no one else has the same...as moving house is stressful enough! We booked John lomas on the understanding our move date would be today (18th June). They asked for payment of a deposit upfront (40%) which was fine, but then the final… balance 10 working days before the moving date, which I now understand from speaking to many other removal companies is just unreasonable as more often than not, things fall through at the last minute, which in our case happened

Moving from Wolverhampton to Suffolk. Called to arrange quotation house removal 5 bed detached. The female who answered the phone 11th January 2021 3pm was so rude half way through giving my details I said I'm going to leave it. She refused to give me her name when asked. Despite having my name number and details. I called back same female answered still refused to give me her name. Absolutely shocked how rude and uninterested she was very off hand with me. Really rude. Horrible person to deal with. Avoid at all costs. If this is how they treat you on the phone gives you an idea they just don't

Just absolutely brilliant. The guys worked their socks off for 2 days. We could not have moved without them, they took the stress out of everything.
