Services
There is a large choice of oak frame garages on the market at the moment from various companies; most of them are constructed using softwood studwork and weatherboard panels connected to a minimal oak frame thus resembling a traditional building. Our garages are built using traditional tenon and mortised joints, 600mm scarfing joints and jowl dovetail tie beam arrangements all of which are prefit and draw dowelled.
There is a huge increase in the use of domestic gardens, resulting in an increase of investment. Our oak garden buildings are designed around period barns and cartsheds to create bespoke handcrafted frames with individual style. Past projects include, art studios, summerhouses, smoking rooms, home offices, log sheds, annexes and boys rooms.
We try to design and built our pergolas to be practical but also be bold and architectural. Traditionally built, we strive to out class any softwood equivalent in both style and quality but still be a competitive alternative. As an option we also sell pre made braces, posts and runners separately if you are looking for a self build.

Outstanding service and high quality product. A belated review, but have to comment on how fantastic Ross has been in the design and production of an oak pergola. At the start of 2020 I started to discuss with Ross my requirements for an oak pergola that was to be attached to our barn, and was therefore more bespoke. Ross invested significant time discussing the project with me at the start to ensure that I was 100% happy with the final design. Throughout my one-man installation, Ross was on hand via phone to answer any queries, although the pergola was labelled well allowing easy installation
