With a background in carpentry and working on some decking projects for other builders I realised how little time and effort went into the outdoor living space.
After some research in to the industry in the U.S. I realised the depth of design and the technical innovations that could be brought into this sector in the U.K. Around this time (15 years ago) composite decking products were being introduced from America and more innovative handrail systems started being developed.Our business has grown alongside these products so we have wide knowledge and experience with them.

Over the last 20 years we have expanded our range of services from just garden decks to a wider range of outdoor living space solutions. Our main services being decks, balconies, handrails and garden rooms. Further to this our experience over the years in more complex projects means we can offer services for planning permission, garden structures, cladding, bridges, boardwalks and even glass rooms.
Alpine Decking have been designing, specifying and constructing decks since the turn of the millennium. Our business has grown alongside many of the new technologies in composite decking. Softwood timber can be the most cost effective material for any deck project. This doesn't mean it can't still be beautiful, warm natural tones and a great design.
We can design and construct balconies for large commercial projects down to simple Juliet balconies. Incorporating Glass, steel, hardwoods and composites and can turn a simple addition of space into a structure with real wow factor. A thoroughly professional approach and a really high standard of work resulted in a completed project that definitely adds the 'wow' factor to our house. We were impressed with the communication from the start. In the initial visit Rod listened to our ideas and gave us a variety of options as to how to approach the job and the different materials… that could be used. He emailed us pictures of projects that he'd completed in the past which was really helpful. This company has an online quotation facility. After speaking on the phone I completed all the relevant details and waited for the reply. Over a week later I phoned and was assured the quote was done & would be sent that evening. Guess what, no quote received. Phoned again the next day & was told the quote wasn't done and due to work load they… would pass on the work. Could they not have told me this from the start? I'm glad they are doing so well they can turn down in the region of £4000 worth of work. Somehow if they carry on like this they won't be around much longer. Don
