Architectural services from AGF Plans: we are a small company that prepares building plans for house extensions, loft and garage conversions, etc. Our reputation has been built on providing a professional personal service that offers excellent value. AGF Plans promises to treat you with courtesy, honesty and a commitment to providing total satisfaction.
This allows us to extend the plans to show virtual 3D images of what the finished project will look like. Both external and internal views can be shown. You can even "walk" around and see if it looks good from different angles. The best thing about doing this on computer is that the design can easily be changed, and alterations or alternative ideas can quickly be incorporated.
The clients of this large 2-storey extension were going to have a large window looking out over their lovely garden, but AGF suggested a Juliet window instead, which they agreed to and now think. This was quite a large project to convert two rooms into a large kitchen, with bifold doors onto the garden.
Our building plan service is designed to be cost effective, but as all projects differ in size, scope and work content, there is no standard price. However, here is a guide: (2018). All estimates include agent fees. All estimates are plus Structural Calculations fees if required. All estimates include free amendments where and if required.
I wanted to knock down the wall between small kitchen and the dining room, and had no idea what was required in the way of planning or building permission, or structural engineer. AGF plans were excellent and I would highly recommend them. They produced numerous versions of the plans as we changed our minds, and found bits that we didn't like.

Neil was very polite and on time when he came for the site visit. He was open to all questions and has been patient throughout offering his opinion where needed.
Neils costs are good value in comparison to some others.
I would recommend AGF if you are planning work/alterations/extenstion at your home.

Fantastic! Neil has been great from the start. He is very efficient, professional and excellent at what he does. He laid out all the costs from the beginning and went through with me all what i wanted with plans to match. He was quick at responding to any email queries i had, even if they were daft! Would definately use him again and recommend him to everyone.

Neil has been brilliant from the moment we first got in touch. Very knowledgable and professional throughout the process. His drawings were easy to understand and gave us a real feel as to what our property will look like when finished. He was patient and allowed us to make amendments whenever we felt necessary. This review is based on my first time experience of submitting planning. So as a newbie to the world of planning/building Neil advised throughout the process being available from 7am until 10pm at times. My property had permitted development restrictions so not straight forward and Neil used his experience of dealing with Bolton Council to advise what was feasible whilst listening to my vision. Neil gave advice on the design to help maximise added space along with ensuring its a cost effective design. My planning application was accepted first time with a minor change which saved a lot of time

Being wheelchair disabled, we were looking to convert our existing kitchen extension into a wet room. Neil was excellent. He listened to our suggestions before offering some of his own. The drawings he produced were very detailed and we couldn’t be more pleased. He even suggested builders to us. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to have plans drawn no matter how big their project was.

I found Neil to be very professional, listened to what we wanted, gave some ideas, stuck to prices quoted, delivered on time and ... simply put I would use his services again. The project was for an extension to an extension to allow for a new kitchen and dining room.
