On leaving British Gas in 1972 I established the business (in my mums spare bedroom) with a view to install and maintain heating systems of all kinds to a high standard with customer care and satisfaction, my main objective. It is these same core value I strive for today some 40 odd years later. We install and maintain gas, solid fuel, LPG, heating systems and warm air projects in Wirral, Chester and North Wales.

Well actually no it will not. The filter has a gentle action where the ferrous particles are attracted to a magnet in the filter, but this action is established by the relatively slow velocity of the system circulator. Our powerflushing machines are extremely powerful basically sending a large volume of water through at pace through your radiators to dislodge all blockages.

Appalling service from this company who took months and several visits to “repair”my shower and even then did such a bad job that the leak continued - I refused to pay for the final work until they returned, but they refused to do so. I then arranged for another plumber to visit who resolved the problem there and then.

I would like Thank John and Mark who were polite,friendly and very informative about all aspects of the job, with minimum amount of disruption to which I was extremely grateful. All work was carried out in the most professional manner.
Nothing was too much trouble .I felt I could just come and go during the day and leave them to their work.
I don’t think you can get better service than Alan Scoffields, I would highly recommend.

We have had a service contract with Scoffield Heating Engineers for a couple of years and they had always been excellent, so when we needed to have an urgent replacement of our ancient boiler, they were our first choice. I cannot fault the service - the engineers were professional, courteous and tidy. They did their best to get the new heating system up and running as soon as possible, and Graham even stayed late on a Friday evening while National Grid checked the main gas supply to our house. This meant we did not have to endure a weekend of no heating and hot water in January, so we very pleased

Very happy with our brand new central heating system. The lads were extremely friendly, professional, respectful of our property, ensuring we were informed of progress regularly and worked long hours in scorching June temperatures! Some small glitches to initial spec ironed out quickly. Very experienced and knowledgeable team. I know how grateful I will feel come October when I no longer have to wear 3 jumpers in the house.

I have had boilers fitted in two properties followed by subsequent servicing. The time period covered several years. The work completed by their engineers is exemplary.
Their accounts and management at director level are however not in the same league. several weeks after my last service I received a patronising letter stating that I had not paid and advising me how it should be paid. In fact I had paid on the same day as the service. Attempts to contact the author of the letter by phone and letter was patently ignored.
