Services
NVC Lighting is the UK subsidiary of NVC International Holdings. We are based in purpose-built premises in Birmingham. This includes our offices, 90,000 ft of warehouse space and an assembly facility for made-to-order products. From here we serve the UK and Ireland markets directly and manage our subsidiaries in Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
NVC specialises in CE/UKCA approved LED lighting for commercial applications. We supply a wide range of internal, external and emergency lighting together with a choice of control systems, sensors and battery options many offering lithium technology. If required we can supply networked, wire-free and cloud-based solutions.
Passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW) sensors are both widely used in lighting control. They both have the ability to detect moving objects, such as human bodies, but they work in quite different ways to each other. As a result, they have different advantages and drawbacks depending on their application.
Self-test emergency lighting automatically performs tests on itself to ensure that it will function correctly in the event of a mains failure. BS5266-1:2016 is the main standard for emergency lighting. It requires a short functional test of each emergency lighting fixture once a month and a full discharge test every year.
Human centric lighting (HCL) is lighting that enhances human experience, performance, health or wellbeing. It goes beyond performing the narrow function of enabling us to see better. Circadian lighting is designed to act upon our circadian rhythm, either reinforcing it or subtly exploiting it for a beneficial end.

Good led strip lights at a very sensible price. Powerful and economical to run yet affordable to buy.

Moved into a property which had been rewired recently and fitted with four, exterior, sensory floodlights made by NVC. One was swithed off and when I reconnected it, I couldn't get it to work properly. I contacted NVC to ask their advice and they could not have been more helpful. After taking the time to identify which product I had and going through all the setup procedures with me (which I'd already tried) the person I was speaking with solved my problem with an ultimate good-will gesture. I can't praise their customer care service enough. Thank you NVC!

Led Odessa Lights were great when first started using them. Unfortunately I can no longer use as I have had too many failures. The last being in a church where it lasted half a service!
