J B Tree Services
We have a highly skilled team of NPTC [National Proficiency Test Council] qualified workers and are able to complete tree work of all sizes. NPTC covers tree climbing, aerial rescue and use of chainsaw from rope and harness and on the ground. This ensures all jobs are carried out safely and efficiently by qualified personnel.

All work is to the BS3998: 2010 Recommendation for tree work. We carry Public Liability insurance to 5 million and Employer's Liability insurance. Crown Reduction This process makes the overall size of the tree smaller to allow light and wind to pass around and through the crown. The tree is always pruned back to growth points, where possible, to allow the tree to.

Trees need to be felled for a number of reasons: - dead, dying and dangerous trees or roots causing problems to foundations and lifting paths and drives etc. There 2 ways: 1. When space permits and there are no hazards. By-products from tree work are used either as firewood logs or woodchip, which is sent to bio-mass boilers.
Services
J B Tree Services is a well-established, professional tree surgery business, located in the vicinity of Thame. It was formed in 1996 by Julian Bailey, who started out in tree work back in 1989. His City and Guild qualification and NPTC certificates were gained in 1993 at Merrist Wood College, Guildford.
Our services include tree felling and removal, whether they are in large open spaces or in confined areas close to other trees or buildings. Where a tree requires maintaining we provide crown reduction, crown thinning, crown lifting, pollarding and crown cleaning (dead wooding). This maintains the plants health and improves its shape and safety.
We pollarded several old willow trees adjacent to a brook in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire and then removed all the logs. A large dead Chestnut Tree was felled in Thame and the logs were sectioned and then removed. Once a large 100ft beech tree had been felled and removed we carried out stump grinding across its 6ft wide stump on Aston Hill in Oxfordshire.
