DON'T pour salt on a liquid spillage: all it does is make a strong salt solution and this can change the colour of some dyes permanently. DON'T use detergents such as dish washing liquids, soaps or other cleaners recommended for general household use. Although they may clean your carpet satisfactorily they will almost certainly cause problems such as rapid re-soiling, colour bleeding or other damage to the pile or backing of the carpet.

Hurren and Glynn replaced all my carpets last Friday. The carpet I chose was a plain wool mix (Cosmopolitan Twist) with new underlay. Prior to placing the order, I did a comparison of their quotation with a well-known national company and I was satisfied that their quotation was competitive.
Having had the works completed, I am absolutely delighted with what was done. The fitters were very careful regarding Covid as well as being courteous and allowing me to discuss the works prior to starting. They took their time with the tricky items and asked me to inspect the works once completed.

This firm has the largest choice of floor coverings of anywhere else I know and the service is excellent. I have been buying carpets here for many years and the quality of the carpets and the fitting experiences have always been excellent. Lovely new one laid two days ago, thoroughly recommend, what more can I say?

Very bad service. Went into the shop on a Friday to compare carpets and prices, arranged for the guy to come a measure which was booked for the Monday. No estimate by Wednesday, left a message, no reply. Called the next day and was told he was working out best price and promised to call me back by the end of the day. 3 weeks on still not communication from them. Time wasters , rude and very unprofessional . Purchased from another independent in Blatchington Rd.
