I was not very satisfied.
When I booked it assumed the report would be comprehensible and/or I would have the opportunity to talk to the surveyor.
I reached out to have a conversation, but had no response.
This meant we had to make a decision to abandon the purchase without a full understanding of the survey.
The whole idea of the survey is to provide actionable insight, they didn’t provide that.
Since my initial review they have called me and offered a part refund.
I might use them again as technically the report seems sound, but their customer contact feels weak and I hope they improve

We recently used Mason Wright Associates for a RICS Homebuyers Report as first time buyers. Although we were initially sceptical as the quote was considerably cheaper than others, we could not have been happier with the service received. The report was to an incredibly high standard, including pictures to make the explanations as clear as possible, and it proved to be excellent value for money. We were able to use this report to support a renegotiation of price on the property and it has highlighted the next steps that we need to take as new homeowners. I am a private landlord and have used a number of different companies for home surveys over the last a few years. I can safely say that my far the best and most comprehensive survey that I have received was from Mason Wright Associates. Lots of photos and useful insights into the shortcomings of the property in question. Very comprehensive!

Top notch service!
Although the survey was instructed on behalf of the buyers, and not myself as the seller, the service received from Jamie at Mason Wright was excellent!
The measures taken to ensure the survey was completed in a safe manner during Covid Lockdown were second to none. Jamie was very considerate whilst conducting the survey to ensure safety wherever possible, which was very much appreciated being 8 months pregnant.
I’d also like to thank the lovely receptionist who kindly fitted the survey in at short notice due to my personal circumstances.

A very detailed report as promised, however, I've tried contacting the surveyor four times over two weeks since I received my report to ask him to clarify something in my report I did not understand. No response. In the end, a family friend who is a RICS surveyor in another part of country took the time to talk me through it – Mason Wright clearly not interested once you've paid them.

I received the survey in about a week. The Home buyer survey was very detailed with photos and a valuation. I had a survey done by another company last year - the Mason Wrights survey was cheaper and far superior. The property I am buying was down valued and rightly so in my view. The vendor queried the valuation and I was provided with a detailed email from Mason Wrights explaining the valuation; with this information I was able to renegotiate the price to match the valuation. The lady who books surveys and deals with queries cannot do enough to help. I can't say enough positive things. Worth
