Hughes recently moved us from York to Nottinghamshire. We did the packing ourselves beforehand. The van was loaded on the first day and the team travelled down and unloaded in our new house on the second day. From getting the quote and organising the date, the office staff were friendly and obliging. The team that moved us were very respectful and really did their best to make a difficult move as easy and caring as possible. Absolutely nothing was damaged and they dealt with everything calmly and smoothly. What a great team! We are so grateful and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Cannot thank Hughes's enough for helping me with a last minute move back in January 2019. Incredibly friendly, great communications and made me feel like they actually cared about my move.
I had been tremendously let down by David Dale at Christmas and Hughes's were superb. It made my move a breeze and I am very grateful for helping me out of a tricky situation over the Christmas holidays.

We have moved several times in the past and we have done everything ourselves and it has always been stressful. This time we decided to use a professional service.
We could not fault anything, we found everything to run smoothly even though the removals team were running late due to a previous job taken longer than expected.

Hughes Removals moved us from York to Bradford. Their efficiency, professionalism and courtesy were second to none. They carried out the move in a timely manner and all our belongings were protected and well looked after.
The two removal men were excellent, and nothing we asked them to do was too much for them.

I moved a week ago from West Yorkshire to North Yorkshire John and Matt were brilliant they were so efficient and friendly they had us packed and ready to go in 21/2 hours! They treated my furniture with respect and nothing was too much for them. If you are looking to move then look no further for a professional and very reasonably priced service 2/3rds cheaper than a firm in Bradford!!

A fantastic & competitively priced service moving us from York to Dundee, they had to use an additional smaller second van the next morning at no extra charge due to us due to us having so much to move & the large lorry was deemed overweight.
The lads were well turned out, polite & professional & arrived in Dundee bang on time, we would thoroughly recommend Hughes removals.

Well this is the second time we have used Hughes removals for both packing and removals service.
They are a fantastic bunch of guys!! nothing is too much trouble! They worked so hard when we moved from a 4 story mill!!
Their prices are unbeatable, and they managed to move us during the lockdown.

We have recently moved property and Hughes removals came and did the removal for us. The service from start to finish was excellent, Due to covid and other delays in the chain we had to re arrange our date twice with them, They were so helpful and managed to squeeze us in on the date we requested. The guys turned up on the day exactly when they said they would and got cracking, 3 real bubbly lads who obviously knew what they were doing as we were all packed and loaded in no time.Nothing was to much trouble as they put each box exactly where we needed. Great service. We used them to move house recently and opted for the packing service. They came the afternoon before we moved and packed the whole house, then made moving day really easy.
