We hired Van Man for our recent house move and their service was excellent. A few days before the move, I had a slight wobble and Ralph was brilliant, completely reassured me everything would be ok and he would get me moved no matter what!! They proved that on the day when they arrived on time and wasted no time in getting started. The move went smoothly and the removal men were friendly and professional and moved us stress free! Let me start out by saying the owner Ralph is a solid guy! He went out of his way to help us in our tricky situation - he responded immediately, gave us all the proper documentation and was super professional in the way he handled everything. Van Man York was absolutely amazing this weekend. Our original delivery company cancelled at one hour’s notice and when we called Ralph he went out of his way to help us out. We went for the self load option and had some friends helping with the loading. He directed and coordinated our move and gave a lovely service. Efficient and careful too. 100% recommend using them. Thank you to Ralph and his wife, truly saved the day!

Ralph was a good communicator throughout. He was really flexible with us when we had a hiccup before originally planned moving date, and accommodated our booking on a different day. The guys on the day were incredibly considerate with our furniture, manoeuvring, loading and unloading. And were so patient with us when we got held up in the chain. They stayed right till the end to get the job done and remained professional and helpful. Great service and for a competitive reasonable price. Would recommend.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough, the lads that came to do my removals today were first class on every level! When my moving date changed last minute Ralph went the extra mile to save me losing my deposit and arranged another day and time even though he was extremely busy and his diary full. Will definitely use Van Man York again and recommend them to all my friends.

Ralph and his team were amazingly helpful during what was a very stressful and last minute move. Ralph in particular was really friendly and keen to do what he could to support the move, keeping in regular contact to check everything went smoothly. Although I was prepared to do a lot of the heavy lifting, the team that helped move my belongings did most of the work and the move was really efficient and smooth. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again. Also, very reasonably priced.
