Contract Floors is a well-established, family run company, whose founder and director, Richard Atherton has over 38 years of experience in the flooring industry. Although we have grown over the years, we like to feel that we have retained our original values of supplying and installing high quality products, whilst offering professional service and advice.
Contract Floors Ltd is built on a background of flooring ancestors with Richard, being a third-generation flooring specialist and director, Lily Webb, fourth generation. Together they lead and work alongside a team of specialists in all areas of flooring installation and management. We are primarily a commercial flooring company working for a wide range of both private and public sector clients.
These include local authorities, NHS Trusts, colleges, schools, hospitals, hotels, charities, construction companies and nurseries. We also have several ongoing contracts with local housing authorities. Our work ranges from small one-off jobs and contracts, up to 1 million flooring contracts and partnership works, as part of 5 million building projects.

Services
We carry out a wide range/variety of flooring contracts, from small and remedial works to large contracts. We offer a personalised client service, with full project management, from a named project manager, who will manage the flooring scheme. As part of our pre-installation service we offer a free measuring and quotation service alongside professional advice and guidance.
Contract Floors Ltd are specialists in supplying and installing high quality floor coverings to suit a wide variety of locations, needs and budgets in an extensive range of colours, textures and designs from a wide range of carefully selected suppliers based around the world. Over the years we have established strong relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers.
At Contract Floors Ltd we take Health and Safety extremely seriously, both at our premises and on site. At Contract Floors we supply full Method Statements, Risk Assessments, COSHH Data Sheets and Cleaning/Maintenance information for all of our work. For our smaller and remedial work we supply a Reactive Caveat and Risk Assessments.
We pride ourselves in being environmentally aware and are keen to promote this in our business. Our Environmental Statement demonstrates the measures taken to adhere to our environmental objectives, minimise our impact on the environment and generally make the world a better place. We care about the environment and wherever possible, source our products accordingly.
Here at Contract Floors we understand the importance of supporting local causes and giving back. We support several local charities. We give monthly contributions to Aspired Futures, a local charity helping vulnerable and hard to reach children. This worthwhile cause are always looking for regular support and volunteers.
