I was having problems with rain coming into the house through the lintel over my lounge window. Mitch advised me to have the brickwork and lintel coated with an aqua seal and gave me a quote for the work. I also asked him to secure some plastic cladding over my front door which had slipped in a couple of places. They came when they said they would, were friendly and polite, got on with coating the area with the aqua seal and made sure all was tidy when they left. They informed me they would be back the next day to apply a second coat and to secure the cladding which they did. Since, the weather

Absolute pleasure to work with Mitch and his team on our very extensive renovation project. We are delighted with the results and Mitch has been attentive and thorough throughout and came in on time and on budget. What we have been especially pleased with is that Mitch doesn't just leave a project and forget about it. He has been absolutely brilliant about resolving any small issues (as always happens with a project our size), even things unrelated to our build.

Very pleased with the outcome.
Southdowns carried out a single storey extension, plus kitchen and bathroom renovation on our house. Mitch arranged for all the trades required and ensured we were happy with the finish of work at each stage.
The work began in February but the UK Lockdown meant we had to pause, Mitch then replanned the work and compressed the key work into 4 weeks while we moved out to allow them to progress.
The finished work is of a high standard. All the people who attended site were polite and respectful, which was especially important given the circumstances (home schooling

I have given Southdowns a five star. Mitch and his Team at Southdown Builders are a pleasure to work with. He promised and over delivered. The whole project was to take 8-9 months but Mitch got us back into our new home in 6 months and he came within budget.
He's knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reliable, He's always recommending ways to help save us some money. The quality of his work is exceptional and he has helped build us a Fantastic home. It was the best decision to have used Southdowns for our project and I will definitely recommend and use their services again.

Excellent builders. They did two jobs for us; a complete re-roof of a single storey extension and the constuction of a 5.1 metre opening for bi-folds. High quality workmanship and great guys to have around. Mitch was brilliantly attentive keeping us fully involved, monitoring the work and working with us to resolve the inevitable issues that arise with any significant building project. Fair prices and for the larger job backed up with a detailed QS costing. Thoroughly recommended.

Mitch came early this year to our house to discuss the project and within one week we got an itemised quotation which we did not receive from any other company.
We agreed in a start day and that was the day when they turned up. The team of Southdown Builders are all very friendly and approachable. Nothing was a problem. We had some problems with our neighbour and everyone did its best to make sure the neighbour was happy.
