A Home Report contains all the relevant information required by law to sell your property. It must be prepared by a suitably qualified Chartered Surveyor registered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We are not a subsidiary of, affiliated with or owned by (in part or whole) any Estate Agency.
A Mortgage Valuation Report (MVR) is normally instructed by a mortgage lender to help form their decision on the value of a property for loan purposes. It is important to note that this is a limited inspection and not a survey - only visible defects that have a material effect on value are reported.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required whenever a property is built, sold or rented. Whilst an RdSap EPC is included in our Home Reports hen you are selling a property, if you have a property to let, you also need an Energy Performance Certificate which has to be displayed in the property - this is a legal requirement.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
The clear lack of knowledge of areas outwith South Lanarkshire has resulted in the collapse of a sale. Complete unprofessional performance. Stick to areas you know.

I did not instruct Whyte and Barrie to survey my home they were instructed by a third party..I am a single female and mother and I was disgusted by the surveyors actions when he visited my property, he asked me about my personal life and asked if he could take photos of my teenage daughters bedroom and my bedroom along with other rooms,he said it was for his own personal portfolio.. I found myself feeling very uneasy during the survey and was relieved when he left...Also the surveyor did not appear to have a clue how to value the property and kept referring to Rightmove...I would under no circumstances
