Failure to produce an EPC before exchange of contracts could result in a fine of 12.5% of the rateable value of the building up to a maximum of 5,000. EPC's are a useful tool to owners and prospective occupiers as they reveal the efficiency in relation to similar buildings and identify areas where the running costs can be improved.

Report
Mr Goodman surveyed a house we were planning to purchase in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. The survey was comprehensive and incredibly detailed. Mr Goodman even surveyed areas that we were planning to convert and gave a detailed description of what was possible. All for the set fee. We are so glad we chose Mr Goodman as his survey warned us of severe problems with the house and saved us at least £40k in repair bills!
The cost of the survey was very reasonable but priceless when considering the defects it uncovered. The report was delivered within a few days and went beyond our expectations.
