Founded in 2003, GX Home Improvements Ltd began operating as a family run business and has continued to function in this way to the present day. The company Director has over 25 years of hands-on experience in the home improvements industry. His knowledge and expertise have allowed GX Home Improvements to assemble a first-rate team of fitters who work directly for the company to deliver our customers projects.
When it comes to improving your home with new windows and doors, it can be a daunting task to find a company that you can trust. Choosing an Assure-certified installer to complete the work means you can rest assured that the installation complies with Building Regulations and is therefore legal and correct.
No variation of these terms will be recognised unless in writing signed by both you and the Director of the Company. We will make an appointment for our surveyor to visit you. You must allow our surveyor access to your premises for inspection. Our surveyor will probably have many appointments on the same day and he may be held up so it is not possible to give an estimate of his time of arrival.
Unless otherwise stated, the quotation/invoice is subject to our acceptance of the order at the time it is placed. It is based on the cost of material, labour and transport now ruling and is subject to amendment on or after acceptance to meet any rise or fall of such costs. If this estimate contains a fluctuation clause the adjustments will be made in accordance therewith.

Was recommended Gx Home Improvements by a friend, and they have not disappointed.
Ordered identical doors for two different houses. Very professional from start to finish, with both Renny and Joshua supporting the process.
The installation team were great on the day. and I'm extremely happy with the final outcome.

Very professional from start to finish, exceptionally detailed quotation which Renny insisted I check properly before confirming the order and glad I did as I'd missed something off I wanted. Good advice on the door and what would look best. Excellent installation with zero damage and great finish and they got it fitted ahead of the planned installation date.

Had three doors installed and a BiFold. The estimate was fair, but they missed the agreed dates. The fitters were excellent, tidy and very polite.
However, we could not register the key because it was a copy of someone else’s. They chose not to take responsibility for this fault (probably a manufacturer fault) or escalate it properly. Getting keys copied was also painful.
Overall impression was of apathy once the client was ‘won’. Shame because the product quality and installation was good.

Dealing with GX home improvement has been a pleasure from beginning to end. They were very responsive, came on site to provide an accurate quote and were always available to answer our queries. Work was then done to a very high standard and on time, as promised. It included making a new opening to install a pair of aluminium French doors which was not easy considering the old age of the property (A huge thank you to Gary!!). They did a remarkable job and transformed our house. They were very friendly too and we will definitely use them again for future work to be done. They were also very tidy

We have received a very poor service from this company administration and quotation wise. It has taken over six weeks for them to come back to us to tell us they are unable to manufacture the required items following acceptance of our deposit. Repeated unanswered phone calls and emails or failure to call back. Contrary to their web site years of experience and customer satisfaction count for nothing.
Think twice before putting them on your tender list but for the simplest of windows.

Renny was really patient and offered some great advice at the design stage. The fitters were friendly and efficient. Their after sales service is great, some minor issues were sorted quickly and without fuss. Months later Shawn was kind enough to give me some paint so I could repair damage to the doorstep caused by another trade. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had replacement windows and front door provided by GX Home Improvements. The process was quite simple. The price was competitive ( not the cheapest but I am always dubious of the lowest price being low for a reason ). Flexible with some last minute changes and very happy with the turnaround and quality of what we purchased. The team were on time, courteous and did a fantastic job and cleaned up after. How many times you do find yourselves going around and having to clean up after contractor leave- not this time! Thank you Shawn and team.
