Gradient was born in 2003 out of the shared vision of directors Clare Armstrong and Richard Garland who believed (and still do) that a firm could give clients the expertise of a larger London practice, but with a commitment to delivering a personal service and developing strong client relationships.
The Gradient approach is to work with you, not just for you. We're a friendly, approachable team with years of experience and industry specialisms between us. Area of expertise - I am an industry specialist in asbestos management with a particular focus on the housing sector. I work with clients to review their existing service, policies and procedures and develop and implement action plans to achieve compliance and peace of mind.
Building surveys of residential and commercial buildings are one of our key areas of expertise, and we can assist with surveys at each stage of your involvement with a property, from advice prior to purchase or the taking on of a lease through to helping you plan for changes and ongoing maintenance.
Locaility were introduced to Gradient Consultants by the Ethical Property Foundation to help with a specific project - a Feasibility Study for extending into the roof space. We found Gradient to be so helpful and knowlegeable about building issues that we have continued to use them to good effect for both project planning work and to help plan and manage large scale repair works and help in sourcing contractors for smaller works.
