Coster Associates were established in 1965, as Architectural and Quantity Surveyors and since then have developed a multi-disciplinary practice, offering a wide range of skills and services to the private individual and multi-national companies alike.
Ever mindful of advancing technology, early in 1998 we took the bold decision to abandon our drawing boards and invest in CAD (Computer Aided Design or Draughting) which has enabled the practice to maintain its existing high standard of draughtsmanship with improved efficiency and flexibility.Furthermore, the ability to share information with other professionals and suppliers via the Internet and email has proved invaluable.
We base our philosophy on the need to provide practical and competitive design for our building projects, irrespective of size or complexity. Services
Coster Associates have been involved in the design and construction of purpose built Care Homes and extensions and alterations for many years. Our expertise includes Sheltered Housing, Residential Care, Full Nursing and Elderly, Mentally Infirm facilities -see project list for full details. This work has taken us to Devon and Cornwall, Shropshire, Wiltshire, Kent and of course our own County of East Sussex, so distance is no object!
Coster Associates have considerable experience in the design and construction of new indivdually designed houses, flat developments and refurbishment projects as well as purpose designed extensions to Listed Buildings and all domestic properties. With the current pressure to attain "sustainability"we can advise on suitable building methods and energy saving measures to reduce carbon emmisions.
