At JR, we are able to provide an effective service for all variety of jobs, no matter what size or condition the tree is in. As they grow, some trees need assistance in forming a clear trunk and nicely dispersed canopy of branches, formative pruning is useful on younger trees to achieve this. Pollarding involves the removal of high-up tree stems or minor branches, helping to encourage lateral branches.
At JR, we understand that emergencies can happen at any time, often at the most inconvenient times. As a result, we offer a 24 hour hotline service, allowing us to respond to any emergency tree work whenever we're needed, ensuring safe removal of hazardous trees as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Once a tree has been felled, it is often necessary to remove the stump left behind. This could be due to it being a hazard, to prevent suckering and fungal root rots or even simply for aesthetic purposes. As well as this, when a tree is removed, the space left behind cannot always be utilised without also removing the stump.

From a very cheerful Alec coming to price up to completion very well satisfied.the two workmen who came were very first rate in all aspects,knowing their tools equipment and work to be done.trees chopped down chipped and packed on wagon, all rubbish swept up to leave job as found.the stumps taken to ground level, much impressed.Alec and team found to be first rate, will recomend and use again .thank you jim rooney

I had a mature plum tree that was too big for me to prune effectively. The fruit had started in previous summers, to suffer with fungus from poor air flow. I Rang Alex in the morning, Nathan came in the afternoon and did an excellent job. He was quick, professional and polite, and took away the branches, all at a very fair price. Very pleased. Thanks.

We couldn't recommend Alex and his team enough. A great set of guys who go out their way to help. We required 1 large horse chestnut taking down and a large sycamore topping. The horse chestnut ended up being a lot more rotten than anticipated. But the team came up with a plan B in a difficult situation and it was felled with no damage to our shed or garden wall!! 👍
