Established in 2013, Black & Milk is led by Olga and Anatoly Alekseev, Russian nationals based in London with a passion for presenting a fresh take on interior design. Olga, our lead designer has an impressive track record as a contemporary interior designer for clients in London's most prestigious neighbourhoods.
We listen deeply to the requirements of each client and spend time defining the style and creative direction for their home. We start by carefully thinking through all the details of our projects to ensure the final design is delivered in a timely, cost-efficient manner. We work with you in stages from the design concept, presented in the form of mood boards, to detailed drawings, specifications and finally, installation.
If you're in a cinema, the screen doesn't sit on the floor, ' notes Olga Alexeeva, who owns the interior design firm Black and Milk (blackandmilk.co.uk). She suggests hanging televisions around 70cm from the floor. If you do place your screen on a base, remember a TV set that is wider than the unit on which it stands tends to look odd.
