Services
Darren O'Donnell hand makes bespoke furniture of the highest quality, in both traditional and contemporary designs, using modern and traditional methods. Every piece of furniture is designed to our client's specifications, style, and budget. Darren has experience in making and restoring furniture for over 18 years and has been running his own business since 1996.
This pair of walnut bedside chest of drawers were constructed using only solid timber (American walnut and ash). Using traditional methods with hand cut dovetails on the bow front drawers. The design was left to Darren after only being told height depth and width with a bow front to the cabinets. The chests were finished with a natural shellac and wax to enhance the timbers used.
Darren and his team have extensive experience in repairing and restoring all types and styles of antique furniture. From repairing a set of rickety chairs to restoring a period dining table to its full glory, they offer the full range of restoration services, including: Furniture with missing or broken parts can be remade, turned or carved.
