In 1925 John Taylor started the company in Bolton offering electrical maintenance services to the local factories and mills. Frank Brogden joined the company aged 14 in the 1930's serving his apprenticeship and later serving in the Merchant Navy. After the war he returned to J.Taylor Electrical Contractors and became a Director.

Portable Appliances are tested using the latest equipment, each appliance is labelled and the results downloaded onto a PC and a detailed report and certificate issued.
