As the oak contains its own tannins, the wood is self-preserved and the products require no further maintenance once they are installed and will age naturally to a stunning silver as they mature. Quercus hand-craft their range of oak fencing and products at their workshop in Somerset, UK using the highest quality sustainable English sourced oak.
Quercus' fence panels are made from the highest quality sustainable English sourced Oak which will provide a stunning visual enhancement to any boundary whether it's within a traditional or contemporary setting. Standard sizes for fence panels range from 1' through to 6' in height. However panels can be custom made to order up to a maximum of 2 metres in height and width.
We can supply you with high quality square oak posts to support your fencing in the length required for your installation. The length required is generally one third in the ground to two thirds out so for example a 6ft tall panel would require 2 ft in the ground, equaling an 8ft long post. The posts are square with a smooth & sanded finish.
All lengths can be made specifically for your site's individual height & width requirements, including curved corners - a great use of space in small & compact gardens such as in a vegetable garden or a school or hospital garden. Posts for support are required but planting can be done directly into the bed with no need for a base.
As well as the Woven Oak Fencing we also manufacture Oak Trellis. This can have 3 or 4 inch (75mm or 100mm) square centres, all constructed form our premium quality oak. We can make this as a top to our fencing or as a complete screen. The standard stock sizes are 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6ft High x 6ft Wide & just the same as the fencing, all bespoke sizes can be catered for up to 2 meters tall & 2 meters wide.
