Scotton Tree Care is run by Ian Lythe and Kevin Davison, both qualified professionals highly skilled in all aspects of tree and hedge work. We attended Askham Bryan College York and qualified with a NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN URBAN FORESTRY. It was a 3-year course. The 1st year was at college, 2nd year work placement and 3rd back to college.
All our wood is processed into 8 to 10-inch logs and seasoned in metal cages to allow for maximum airflow. The cage in the photo is 0.5m square or the equivalent to a bulk bag often used for aggregates. Some of our logs are shorter / longer than the standard 8 to 10 inches, please let us know when ordering if you have a small stove or require larger logs.

Bit of confusion over message I left. Didn't get reply they said they sent so had to do job myself. Initially spoke to someone who said they would get back onto me in a couple of days.
Hope fully will not have this problem again next time I contact them as they have done a first class job in the past.

Ian and the team were great through from first contact and quote through to clearing up after the work. They managed the planning application process to get a tree felled, trimmed a row of laurel bushes, felled a tree and cleared it all away (as well as some extra garden waste I had). All was done politely and efficiently, respecting social distancing. Highly recommended!

Had a number of trees removed and trimmed recently. We have used Scotton Treecare on a few occasions previously. They are reliable and turn up promptly when scheduled. All the team are courteous and very tidy workers. The garden was left very tidy. We would certainly recommend Scotton Treecare and the costs quoted are what you pay . The company always checks afterwards to make sure you are satisfied. Fully deserve the best rating as a good trustworthy company.
