Several team members have worked with the company for over ten years, progressing from operational duties to higher management roles.

After leaving St. Andrews University with an Honours Degree in Moral Philosophy and Political Economy, I have devoted my working life to the service of trees. I was initially employed for several years as Forester to Lord Dundee on his Tayside estate in Birkhill, and continued my career as a forestry contractor for the Scottish Woodland Owners Association.

Managing Director Rod Usher has been involved in the tree business since 1983.

Health and Safety plays a key role in modern tree work. Our company philosophy has always placed the greatest emphasis on safe working practice. Please find below a list of accreditations which we have achieved, giving some indication of the health and safety culture that the company maintains at all times.
The two boys that came to my property were the best people I've had work for me. They were very respectful and kind. They left my property extremely clean and treated me, and my property, with a lot of respect. I am very happy with the work and with the service that I got from the crew. I wanted to phone up to say thank you and wanted to let your Director know how good they were and how impressed I am with them.
Individual home owners and commercial clients have a legal obligation and a duty of care to have their trees inspected by a suitably qualified person. This can be crucial should an incident occur in which damage or injury is sustained. All of our tree surveys/reports are backed by a professional indemnity insurance of 2 million.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Haringey Council sent them to our road to cut down a tree. They cut it down. No prior notice to us. Tree landed on a parked car. They didn’t check it was clear of wires and so the tree ripped the telephone wire out of my house, cutting off my internet and landline. When I asked him what he was doing as I saw him yanking wires across the road he became extremely aggressive. He slammed his van door and shouted at me that it was my attitude that was at fault. They then left me with no phone and internet in the middle of a pandemic, wires hanging loose on the street
