Coeval Fires is a supplier and installer of wood burning, multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves (including wood burning stoves for smoke control areas) to fires and fireplaces.
Getting the right advice for the installation of your wood burning stove, multi-fuel stove, range cooker or fireplace is crucial. That is why we offer an initial site survey completely free of charge and with no commitment to buy. Our expert team can guide you through the latest product developments to find the best way to heat your home.
As a registered member of HETAS we are fully qualified to install solid fuel appliance. All of our gas appliances are certified by fully qualified Gas Safe engineers. We will do an initial site visit to go through the installation with you and this will be followed with a written quotation and payment details.
Coeval Fires offer a custom-tailored design, procurement and installation service. If you can't find exactly what you need we can work with you to find or create exactly what you need. We can recreate original period detailing for restoration projects or design a unique and distinctive, architectural centrepiece that makes the right design statement.
By law, every working fireplace, whether using solid fuel or a class one gas fire is required to have a functioning flue in good condition. A sound working flue is essential so that noxious fumes can escape up the chimney and not find their way back into the building through gaps or leaks. Lining is the safest solution to ensure a fully functional flue.

We have chosen to have the old fireplace - surround, hearth and insert removed and replaced with new fireplace in keeping with the original style of the Victorian property.

Each winter for the past three years, as I watch the water drip down the outside of the stove pipe onto the expensive Charnwood fire in cream, rusting its surface, as I watch the roaring flame that I cannot turn down, I think of the officious, bumptious personnel from Coeval and wish I had never met them.
I tried to get them to do something about the problems and they denied there were any problems, then denied it was their fault, then said it was due to choices I had made. Really? A leak down the stovepipe?
They were only interested in one thing, apart from the money, and that was enforcing
