Ross Jones Tree Services Ltd is a professional tree surgery company based in Grimsby operating in Grimsby, Louth, Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Holten Le Clay, Tetney, Cleethorpes, Market Rasen and throughout Lincolnshire. After qualifying as a tree surgeon, Ross also learned how to carve sculptures with his chainsaw.
If you have a tree that requires some work, we can call and give you a free no obligation quotation. We won't try and bamboozle you with technical jargon. We can give you advice on which is the best option for your tree and explain it to you if need be. If your tree is subject of a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or within a conservation area, our admin team are happy to assist you by completing and submitting the paperwork on your behalf.
In North East Lincolnshire, some of our trees are protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or may have a Conservation Area status. This means that to carry out any type of work to the tree, the owner must first submit an application to the local council. Here at Ross Jones Tree Services, we can complete this application on your behalf and provide advice prior to carrying out the work.
Sports, Leisure and Hospitality overgrown gardens can be, for some customers, a real chore with overgrowing vegetation that never seems to stop. We can carry out land and garden clearance such as clearing brash, weed growth, ground foliage, strimming, excavating trees and stump removal. From small to large scale commercial sites, we offer grounds maintenance services to suit your needs.
We supply good quality seasoned logs for sale in Grimsby at reasonable prices. Our firewood price list stays the same all year round, and won't shoot up when the temperature plummets. Our wood is split and ready to burn, perfect to throw on the stove or open fire. It comes moisture tested to ensure that it is properly seasoned and will burn at optimum temperature.

Booked Ross last year for the removal of two trees and reducing the size of a very large apple tree. Arrived at the time and date booked, work was done quickly and with little mess considering the amount of wood and branches removed.

Ross and his team turned up at the expected time regardless of the bad weather. Great bunch of local lads, friendly, helpful, and polite. They let me keep some of the logs at no extra cost, very hardworking. Great price for the amount of work they did, I would definitely recommend their services quite happily:)

A big thank you to Ross Jones. Had an 80ft tree booked in to be shortened by half on the 29/09/20 but 2 weeks before, i noticed that a split had appeared between 2 main branches running down the main trunk, God, was I in trouble. Sent 2 pics to Ross, he came to inspect the tree 9 o'clock the following morning.
He told me that the tree was about to fall, right across the main A46 in Grimsby. With in the hour he had pulled his crew off 2 other jobs they were on and to my great relief, felling the tree had started and I am absolutely sure that a potential catastrophe had been averted.
