Established in 1985, we specialise in planning residential extensions and alterations/new build and we also get asked to do small housing developments.
We'll guide you through the intricacies of the planning and construction of your project starting from our first consultation through to the design, the drawings, the specification, the quotations and contracts including the necessary liaison with the Local Authority Planning and Building Regulations Departments for the required permissions for you to carry out your work.
We're in the business of giving our customers what they want - not what we think they should have. All of our customers want something that is useful and don't want to spend a lot of money doing it and this is where Churchill Design comes into its own. We've saved many people a huge amount of money by making use of what's already under their noses.

Services
Churchill Design's main aim is to guide you through all of the intricate procedures associated with the design, planning and construction of your building project. We pride ourselves in listening to you and designing around your requirements. We are very familiar with the policy requirements that the Local Authorities base their decisions on and we design within the parameters and constraints encompassed by these guidelines.
New house construction will always require a planning consent; however, a formal planning consent is not always needed for you to be able to alter or extend your home. There is an amount of work that you can do to your home under Permitted Development. Whilst you do not need to approach the Local Authority for work in this category you may decide to formalise the work using a Certificate of Lawfulness.
Building Regulations approval is a formality and just requires plans to be submitted that accord with the current requirements as laid down in the Approved Documents. It is our responsibility to ensure that the information provided in the way of drawings, specifications and supporting documentation is accurate and up to date.
We offer a free initial consultation at your home or at our offices whereby we will discuss your requirements with you in detail and assess the level of service that you will require. At that visit we can usually provide you with a written quotation or estimate for our services and we can also advise you on the likely construction costs for your project.

Disappointed to be honest, gentlemen from Chruchill came over, promised a quote week on week and never bothered coming back to us. Delayed my project. Told me he was part of the Churchill group with 6k+ employees. Read their companies House report and you would realise that's not the case. I think this was a issue averted, if that is the begining of the journey
, I can only imagine how much of a nightmare it would of been I booked any services
