Celebrating 30 years at our factory in Kent, using the finest English clay and traditional hand making skills, now enhanced with computer controlled kiln firing technology, we have an enviable experience in handmade clay tiles and fittings. This enables us to offer advice, technical expertise and an acknowledged 'AAA' customer service.
All products conform to UKCA and CE marking BS:EN 1304, and are guaranteed for durability. Choosing a roofing material is a key decision when building or renovating a home, as the roof is a dominant feature of the building. Traditionally made from locally available materials, English handmade clay roof tiles have always encompassed pleasing aesthetics with durability.
When used as exterior wall cladding, clay roof tiles add character to modern properties, including those which may already have ordinary and unattractive machine made clay or concrete tiles on the roof. My main reason for recommending Tudor Roof Tile would be for their superior customer service.

Services
Tudor started in 1986 at Ashford in Kent. The company has achieved its declared aim of producing authentic hand-made clay tiles of the highest quality, which are regarded by many users and specifiers as among the best available. Due to growing demand for its products the company soon required more space and in 1992 moved to its present freehold site at Lydd on Romney Marsh.
Why are Tudor's Customer Service (sales) team better than all others and what extra value do they give? The answer is a wealth of differing experience and a dedication to helping their customers in all circumstances. Meet all the team in this info e-leaflet. What are the types of tiles on your roof?
As part of our customer service, we always try to respond quickly, and to get the samples delivered by hand. Please note the cost to provide and deliver samples is substantial and we cannot supply samples free of charge in all cases. Quantities over 10 tiles will be invoiced prior to delivery and refunded off first order.
Tudor Roof Tile Co Ltd offers a wide range of bespoke and non-standard peg and plain clay roof tiles designed to match the varied sizing requirements of old and historic buildings in order to help renovators replicate and preserve the architectural integrity and original character of older properties.
Whether ventilating roof spaces, soil pipes, or used as mechanical extraction outlets, Tudor offers two solutions. Any of our clay ridge, or even clay plain tiles, can have vent openings manufactured in the ridge/tile. More often used nowadays are the Under-Tile and the In-Tile vent systems which are made of durable 'plastic'.
