The Production Works was started in 2012 by Rowan Burton and Pete Allison. Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, The Production Works provides a friendly, reliable equipment hire and production service for events across the UK. Between them, our Directors have a rich variety of practical experience in event production, including events of national significance.
In addition to a thorough grounding in the theory, we stay up to date with the latest developments in technology and good practice. Many of our clients tell us that they find event organisation stressful. The Production Works aims to remove the stress and deliver a successful event, whatever the scope or demands of the project.

I first came across Rowan when he was providing PA support to a funeral in our local church (I was coordinating the music). I was immediately impressed not only by the flexible and creative way he tackled the technical aspects, but also by his sensitivity to the occasion. I have since hired small quantities of audio gear from Rowan to supplement our band's normal gear – requests have been dealt with promptly, satisfactorily and cheerfully, even though they have been very small in scale. Rowan is highly professional and always a pleasure to deal with.
