Services
We use both live catch traps for squirrels and traps that kill outright (used for rodents, stoats/weasels and moles). Lethal traps are not used where non-target animals may be found. Insect control can require a variety of treatments and naturally the costs will vary, however, it is usually not as expensive as one might think and a visit from us will quickly generate a very competitive quote.
Recent Clients have been people who have had wasp nests, rat or mouse problems and those who have had their carpets or clothing eaten away by textile moths or beetles. We have dealt with flea infestations at private homes, certain businesses and areas of a school. Bed bug jobs are increasing at an alarming rate.
Called Stuart to sort out 'the fervent scratching coming from behind the wall in my lounge'. He was prompt in arriving at the time stated, checked the home all over, and put the relevant treatment down in the area concerned. He was assuring, knowledgeable and professional in his manner and approach, yet very friendly (he never says no to a cuppa!).
These are common throughout Europe and the UK. The Queen becomes active in mid April and by late summer a colony may reach 3,000 to 30,000 wasps. The Queen overwinters in buildings and hollows in trees. Nests are found in holes in the ground, in tree holes and in all sorts of buildings. They will get in through bricks, holes where bricks or mortar are missing and through gaps in tiles or slates.
Bed bugs are common throughout the UK and abundant in the South of the country. They are commonly brought in on the luggage of travellers. They lurk in all sorts of hiding places, all parts of the bed, headboard, mattress, buttons, behind peeling wallpaper, cracks and crevices, light fittings, electrical sockets, folds and creases in clothes, carpets and floor joints.

Report
We discovered rats under some paving slabs when moving gardening equipment. After ringing Stuart, he came over as soon as he could, and was very ccourteous and professional when examining the area, and knowledgeable of his field. He presented the solutions to us and then got to work; the job did not take long, but he was thorough and did a quality job. I would definitely recommend his services, and I would choose to use the services of The Pest Man UK Ltd again, should the need arise; also, good rates and free initial visit.
