Due to a fairly major mains water leak in my home, Gary and Paul of Wood Flooring Specialists (fitters that care) had a very difficult and lengthy task in removing my old stuck down solid oak flooring. The new engineered wood flooring they have laid for me is fantastic and I am so grateful to them both for their wood flooring knowledge, care and understanding throughout the whole process. I had been looking for along time for a oak fitter for my floors. After multiple quotes, I stumbled by luck upon fitters that care. Gary came to quote me and the moment he walked in the door you got a air of this man knows his trade. His knowledge and friendly disposition gave me a sense that the job would be done well. Gary supplied, fitted and finished a new oak parquet floor in our recently extended and modernised kitchen. His pre-installation guidance was excellent, his pricing competitive, and the fitting and finishing of the floor was done in a professional and skilled way. We're very happy with the finished floor and completely recommend Gary for this kind of work. Gary kept us updated at all times on the progress of our order and I never had need to chase him.
Paul the gentleman that laid the floor was brilliant. He arrived on time and did a full days work. He also consulted with me, every time a decision needed to be made. Paul offered excellent advice and listened to my thoughts on the project.
His work was really outstanding and that comes from someone with an extreme eye for detail.

I had a new floor laid in a bedroom. The process from contacting to installation was very quick with great communication. Samples were bought to the house and then a quote sent through the next day. The fitter was brilliant - hardly any mess and a perfect finish , with 2 doors and a bed not an easy task. The floor looks great.

There was a manufacturing fault with our original laminate flooring which needed to be fixed. Various boards had to be replaced. He did a fantastic job, checked all the newly supplied flooring, noted issues with that new stuff as well and carefully replaced the defect ones. His service was very professional and we were very pleased with the result. We are happy to recommend very highly.

Excellent service from Gary and his team, fitting us in at a weekend. Floor has been fully restored now showing a lovely hard wax finish having had a lot of hard wear over 20 years.
We have another wooden floor that Gary installed and hard waxed 4 years ago which is still looking as good as when it was laid. Many thanks

The pictures don't do the floor justice! Gary has done an amazing job reflooring our entire 2 bedroom apartment in under 2 and a half days. He was extremely thorough and made sure I was happy with every room. We have a lot of furniture including a huge Ikea pax wardrobe and he managed to work so well around it all. He talked me through different options and brought loads of samples to show me. Most definitely worth every penny!
